A Grand Business Summit was organized by Gujarat team for Rifah to launch. Program started with recitation of Quran followed by the speech of Er. Taufiq Aslam sb about Entrepreneurship in Islam. 220 businessmen from different industries participated and they are highly motivated by the vision, mission and values of Rifah. A half an hour speech was given about introduction of Rifah and its plan for Gujrat by Mirza Afzal Baig General Secretary. A panel discussion on “How To Tackle Economic Slowdown” hosted by Dr. Abrar Ali Sayyed (Professor of Ahmedabad University and a visiting faculty of IIMA). Panellists were Prof. Piyush Kumar Sinha(EX Prof. IIMA and Director of CRI advisory and Research), Mr. Mayur Patel (CEO of Proflex), Mr. Himal Parekh (founder and CEO of Interface Capital Market Pvt. Ltd. and Mirza Afzal Baig. Some very good questions were asked by the host to the panellists and then session was made open to public. Satisfactory answers were given by panellists to the host and audience. 14 prominent Muslim businessmen of Ahmedabad was given memento and asked to speak about their successful journey which became the main USP of the summit. Program ended with the vote of thanks by Suhail Sachora sb state coordinator of Rifah Chamber of Commerce and industry.
