Successful Completion of Entrepreneur Development Program

Ghaziabad, 13th July 2025:
Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully organized a One Day Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP) at Falah Masjid, Siddharth Vihar, Sector 7, Ghaziabad. The workshop, held from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 65 attendees, including aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals, and students from various parts of Delhi-NCR.

The program commenced with the Recitation of Qur’an and Hadith on Rizq and Tijarat (Islamic Guidance on Business) by Mr. Mohd Asim, setting a spiritual and motivational tone for the day.

Islamic Perspective on Business

Renowned speaker Dr. Mohammad Shahid Malik, Founder of REGIMA Skin & Wellness Centre, delivered a powerful keynote on “Business in Islam”, emphasizing the need for Muslims to reclaim leadership in trade. He shared inspiring stories of the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet ﷺ), addressed mental blocks like fear, lack of capital or knowledge, and encouraged attendees to build a purpose-led business mindset.

Vision of EDP and Rifah’s Role

Mr. Sultan Salahuddin shared the vision and objectives of Rifah’s Entrepreneur Development Program. He also highlighted various initiatives of Rifah for the economic upliftment of the community through entrepreneurship.

Prophetic Business Model

In the next session, Mr. Shaad Habeeb, Assistant Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, focused on the business life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, with examples of Abdur Rahman bin Awf (RA) and other companions. He explained how Islamic values such as honesty, trust, and mutual benefit form the foundation of successful trade.

Barakah-Centric Business Growth

Mr. Shoeb Shahid, Founder of Parwaaz Creation, delivered an insightful talk on:

  • Importance of mentorship
  • Concept of Business System in Islam
  • Financial purity vs. profit
  • Halal capital & bootstrapping
  • Building a team with Amanah (trust)
    He stressed that growth should be with Barakah, not greed, and that financial ethics must be prioritized in every stage of business.

Open Discussion & Dua

The program concluded with a Q&A session, where participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions with the speakers. Mr. Molana Zamirul Hasan Khan Falahi (Ameer Halqa U.P West) presented the Vote of Thanks, followed by a heartfelt Dua for everyone’s success and prosperity.
