Rifah Chamber of Commerce Hosts Successful Monthly Business Meet in Aurangabad

Aurangabad – September 15, 2024: The Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RIFAH) successfully held its monthly business meet at Wasim & Associates, Madni Chowk. The event saw active participation from 30 business leaders and entrepreneurs from Aurangabad, fostering a spirit of collaboration and growth within the local business community.

The program began with an inspiring address by Mufti Athar Qasmi, who highlighted the Islamic principles of business, emphasizing the qualities of a Muslim businessman as described in the Quran. His message set a reflective tone, reminding attendees of the spiritual dimensions of ethical business practices.

Syed Aqeel, President of Rifah’s Aurangabad Chapter, introduced the chamber’s mission and activities. He underscored the importance of having a dedicated organization to guide the Muslim community in business and service industries. Aqeel explained how Rifah is committed to supporting the establishment, growth, and upliftment of community businesses through Islamic principles, offering services like business networking, government compliance assistance, trade fairs, and delegation visits to other countries.

A virtual session led by Mumtaz Mansoori, President of Rifah Karnataka, provided insights into the power of business networking. Citing examples from Islamic history, Mansoori illustrated how networking helped drive revolutions and build the backbone of Islamic commerce. He emphasized that effective networking fosters transparency, commitment, and innovation, and plays a crucial role in elevating the socio-economic status of communities over time. Mansoori encouraged regular networking events, whether monthly or quarterly, to sustain engagement and foster mutual growth.

Following the expert session, Mohammad Abdullah presented a detailed profile of Mansoori and highlighted his role as a mentor and motivational speaker, whose influence has been instrumental in Rifah’s growth. The meeting then transitioned into a self-introduction round, where participants shared their personal and business profiles, promoting a deeper connection among the attendees.

The event also saw the formal induction of new members into the Aurangabad chapter of Rifah, with certificates distributed to businesses including Glamour Plastics, XPeacock IT Services, Ikon Industries, and Kwality Engineers, among others. The benefits of Rifah membership were discussed, with Abdullah emphasizing how the organization provides a powerful platform for business growth and collective progress.

Mufti Athar took the stage again to discuss the Islamic perspective on modern business practices, referencing the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions as models of ethical commerce. He urged attendees to conduct their business dealings in accordance with Sharia principles, setting an example for others to follow.

The event concluded with a networking and breakfast session, where participants continued to exchange ideas and build connections. The Rifah Aurangabad team congratulated Syed Aqeel on his recent appointment as Chapter President, and organizers thanked all contributors for making the event a resounding success.

The next monthly business meet promises to build on this momentum, continuing Rifah’s mission of supporting community-driven entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
