The meeting started at 7:30 pm. The participants were welcomed by the secretary Jb Asim Patel, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran by the secretary of state Jb Akhtar Ali.

The president of Bangalore chapter Jb Viquas Mahmood in his speech emphasized the part played by networking in RCCI, briefly explaining about the Rifah and its activities locally, nationally & internationally. He briefed how Rifah started from Mumbai & Delhi and spread nationally to most parts of the country. Rifah was started to strengthen the muslim bussiness people by providing a platform where they could help each other in business growth. He highlighted the achieved business of Bangalore chapter which is Rs. 4.40Cr. He also talked about the visiting dignitaries from Malaysia Ministry of Commerce and about the participation of Rifah in Riyadh exhibition., Saudi Arabia.

In total 25+members & visitors participated in the meeting and gave their 40-second introduction. We could see a variety of businesses present in the gathering. Some of the members were good at presenting themselves & their products. Many lacked the ability to make an impact on the audience.

This was followed by the 10-minute presenter Jb Mohsin Akram. He talked about his company ‘Aspiron Khuze’, it’s products & services. He is into website designing & hosting plus digital marketing. He does a lot of services that include cloud hosting, e-commerce, programming etc.
He has an impressive line of customers. Some of the Rifah members are his clients. He is tied up with Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education, gives training to degree students for employability skills, and does support Acharay Institute in their endeavor.

This session was followed by a Networking session by Jb Ikramulla. He talked about how to get referrals. Referrals come through 121s, relation building & trust. Then he conducted a mock session of 121s by pairing members or visitors and showing them how to do 121s. This activity opened the way for some referrals and many connections. This was followed by the referral session which by the benefit of mock sessions helped members think about giving.

Next came our keynote speaker Jb Nizam Foujdar – a trainer and a politician, who made us sit at the edge of our seats with his presentation. He explained how comparatively we are slower in terms of completing the jobs. This was due to lack of commitment to complete the task taken. He advised to build individuals & teams for back up, so that if one fails, another takes over.

He gave examples of work culture in most of the companies in our country. He said ‘When one is asked to complete the job in 2 weeks, the person when asked about the status after one week, he asks for extension of time. Again at the end of the deadline, he again requests for extension. This way a lot of time is wasted and the number of accomplishments is reduced as compared to the plan.

He motivated us to ignite ideas for today & tomorrow, today itself. Look at the long run & plan for now. Business will grow naturally like a child grows. It may take 18 years for it to become an adult, that’s worth it. He urged us to start the process.

He talked about the vision & mission of a company. Many of our businesses lack both of these, without which we are directionless. He talked about business, Operations and people. Question yourself “Are you getting the desired results? If not Why? Probe the reason and correct the course. ‘How are you running the company? How can you bring change?

He emphasised “Rifah should become a conglomerate of business’. A well netted community cannot be destroyed easily. “ Ek dhaga toot sakta hai, lekin ek rassi ko jalana padta hai”.

Become givers. Start giving. Then you will start receiving. When you grow big, you give more.

Modi sold a dream, people like La Bharti voted for him.

There are many schemes by the governments, become aware of those and utilize them. There are direct loan schemes under MSMEs with just 3% interest per anum. It is just a processing fee. There is Vriddah scheme, Unnati scheme gives upto 20 cr. Go to the website & see the guidelines. Understand the startup policy.

He prompted us to take advantage of the present state government. He said when the party has taken votes in the name of our community, why don’t we take our share.

Do reverse engineering. Comply with the system. Don’t try to go against the system. Going against the system will break you. This was followed by a few questions asked by the participants.

With the end of this Jb Nizam Foujdar’s session came to an end.

We had 14 referrals, Rs.11 lakh business done and a few cases of helping each other..

At the end the vice president Habib ur Rahman gave his ‘Vote of Thanks’ briefly to the members and Keynote speaker for their contributions to the meeting.

The meeting was closed with dua by Jb Abdullah Arshad.

The meeting ended at 9:30 pm followed by dinner..
