RIFAH Strengthens Leadership Across Maharashtra and Goa

Margao, Goa – August 17-18, 2024: The Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RIFAH) held a landmark “Orientation Workshop” at Abrar Masjid in Margao, Goa, drawing together chapter leaders from Maharashtra and Goa. This two-day event was designed to foster unity, inspire leadership, and equip participants with the tools and knowledge to further Rifah’s mission.

The program began with a recitation from the Quran, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the following sessions. Mr. Taufiq Aslam Khan, Director of RIFAH, opened the event with an insightful discussion on the interplay between the Quran and business, offering a fresh perspective that resonated deeply with the attendees.

In his welcome address, Mr. Anis Mohammad, the Goa State President, underscored the significance of unity and collaboration among the leaders, articulating the core objectives of the orientation program.

The second session, led by Dr. Mohd Aslam, Maharashtra State President, focused on the “Rifah Maharashtra Road Map.” Dr. Aslam reviewed the past year’s activities and outlined strategic goals for the upcoming year, providing a clear vision of Rifah Maharashtra’s progress and future trajectory.

Following this, Mr. Ashfaque Alam Siddiqui delivered a “What Rifah Gives You” session highlighting the comprehensive resources and support available to RIFAH chapters. He emphasized the availability of ready-to-edit templates, expert guidance, and innovative program design ideas that significantly streamline operations.

A collaborative session then brought together leaders from various chapters across Maharashtra and Goa, allowing them to share experiences, discuss upcoming events, and brainstorm ways to enhance Rifah Maharashtra’s initiatives.

The program’s highlight was a powerful session led by Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan, Chairman of RIFAH, on “The Impact of Business on Society.” Mr. Hasan’s eloquent address on the transformative role of businessmen in society was both inspiring and thought-provoking. He discussed the importance of setting clear business goals, overcoming challenges, and understanding the factors that contribute to either success or demotivation.

The RIFAH Orientation Program concluded on a high note, with participants leaving the event feeling more motivated and equipped to drive Rifah’s mission forward. This event marked a significant step in uniting chapter leaders, and in strengthening the Rifah community across Maharashtra and Goa.
