Rifah DK Chapter Strengthens Entrepreneurial Drive with Productive Meeting at Hidayath Centre

Dakshina Kannada, 22 June 2025: The Rifah Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Dakshina Kannada (DK) Chapter convened a key strategic meeting at the Hidayath Centre to review recent activities and plan forward-looking initiatives. The meeting began with a soulful recitation by Mr. AH Sharafath, setting a reflective and purposeful atmosphere.

Successful Launch of Women’s Wing

One of the highlights discussed was the successful launch of the Women’s Wing, which concluded with positive feedback from participants. Executive members agreed on the importance of consistent engagement and proposed organizing monthly business meets specifically for women entrepreneurs to build leadership and economic participation.

Business Insight Program Applauded

The Business Insight Program was also reported as a success. Members praised the organizing team’s efforts and recommended hosting similar public business awareness events once every four months to enhance Rifah’s visibility and support base among budding entrepreneurs in the region.

Key Decisions and Upcoming Plans

The DK Chapter announced several upcoming initiatives and key decisions:

• The next Monthly Business Meet will be held on 1st July 2025, featuring Mr. Abdul Salam Puttige as the chief guest.
• The next Sunday Meet will be organized in consultation with the Udupi team, with the possibility of hosting it in Udupi or surrounding areas.
• A Puttur Taluk-level business meet will be conducted on a quarterly basis, with support from the Mangalore team.

New Leadership Appointments

To strengthen internal coordination and outreach, the following appointments were made:

• Mr. SM Muttalib as Secretary – Membership
• Mr. Asif Iqbal for Digital Promotion
• Mr. AH Sharafath as Public Relations (PR) Secretary

The meeting concluded with a Dua and breakfast, leaving members energized and aligned towards Rifah DK Chapter’s mission of fostering a professional and inclusive business ecosystem in the region.
