Rifah’s First Business Networking Program in Kannad Successfully Organized – Rural Entrepreneurs Find New Direction

Kannad, June 18, 2025: The Rifah Aurangabad Chapter marked a significant milestone by successfully organizing its first Business Networking Meet in Kannad, with enthusiastic participation from over 45 entrepreneurs from Kannad and nearby rural areas. The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a reflective tone while highlighting the economic and ethical responsibilities of Muslim entrepreneurs.

Syed Aqeel Sahab, President of Rifah Aurangabad Chapter, delivered a detailed address introducing Rifah’s mission, objectives, and the importance of Islamic principles in business life. He emphasized how the Rifah network supports business development, mentorship, and connects buyers and sellers at national and international levels. Sharing inspiring success stories from Maharashtra and other states, he encouraged rural entrepreneurs to engage with Rifah and benefit from its growing ecosystem.

Sheikh Hanif Sahab, Joint Secretary of Rifah Aurangabad, focused on strategies for business growth, challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and their practical solutions. He urged participants to leverage platforms like Rifah to take their businesses to a more professional level.

A majority of the participants were from rural regions such as Kannad and Ghatnandur, and their energy and ambition to grow their enterprises was clearly visible. Key areas of focus during the event included:

  • Opportunities in agriculture-based export and import
  • Guidance in franchising and business networking
  • Strategies for managing businesses professionally from rural areas
  • Assistance in business registration and documentation
  • Training for online sales through digital platforms
  • Creating a supportive ecosystem for rural entrepreneurs

The event concluded with a networking dinner and exchange of visiting cards, fostering new connections and leaving a lasting impact on attendees. This meet not only boosted the morale of Kannad’s business community but also gave a fresh direction to Rifah’s mission of inclusive economic empowerment.

The success of the program was made possible by the active involvement of local leaders Mr. Tasadduq Kothari and Mr. Abu Ubaida, along with strong support from the Rifah Aurangabad team members Syed Aqeel (President), Sheikh Hanif (Joint Secretary), Abdullah Mujahid, Anees Bhai, and Tariq.

This landmark meet has opened new horizons for rural businesses, and the Rifah Aurangabad Chapter is now committed to bringing these enterprises into the national spotlight.
