RIFAH Chamber of Commerce Annual Conference

The Annual Summit of the RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industries was successfully held on Saturday, 16 May 2026, at KM Spectra. The inaugural address was delivered by the State President, Younus Sait.

More than 500 businesspersons, over 15 speakers, influential thinkers, and distinguished guests participated in the summit, making the event a grand success and a memorable gathering of entrepreneurs and community leaders. RIFAH also honoured five Businessmen that made remarkable contributions to the commercial growth of Tamil Nadu by presenting them with the prestigious RIFAH Awards.

The summit featured insightful sessions on several important themes:

The highlight of the morning was an intensive knowledge session led by business expert Mr. Sanket Deshmukh, who guided 40 business owners through the complexities of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). From mastering cost control to prioritizing "Income minus Savings," the interactive workshop empowered members to approach the new financial year with disciplined budgeting and a clear distinction between business "needs" and "wants."
The collaborative energy peaked during the "Give & Ask" introductions, where a diverse array of entrepreneurs—spanning industries from entrance automation to logistics and fashion—shared resources and strategic needs. This vibrant exchange resulted in 34+ high-value referrals passed on the spot, demonstrating the practical power of the Rifah network. Looking ahead, the chapter is preparing for an outdoor retreat on April 18th and 19th near Matheran or Lonavala, designed for deeper industry bonding and strategic problem-solving. It was a day of significant milestones, setting a strong, professional tone for the months to come.

The Import–Export (EXIM) & Logistics Workshop, organized by the RIFAH Pune PCMC Chapter, was successfully conducted on Saturday with an enthusiastic participation of 40+ business professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring exporters.

The session was led by Mr. Rais Ahmed, Core EXIM & Logistics Faculty from the Jodhpur Institute of Export & Shipping Management, who brought in-depth industry knowledge and practical insights from his extensive experience in global freight forwarding and shipping.

The workshop focused on providing a practical understanding of the export–import business, covering key areas such as:

  • Export/import business setup and IEC registration 
  • Identifying and connecting with international buyers 
  • Logistics and supply chain management 
  • Export documentation and payment processes
  • Government schemes and incentives for exporters 

Participants found the session highly interactive and informative, as real-world examples and case studies were discussed. The training emphasized not only theoretical concepts but also actionable strategies that attendees can implement in their own business ventures.

A key highlight of the workshop was that Mr. Rais Ahmed offered free consultation to existing members and those interested in becoming members of RIFAH Pune/PCMC Chapter, providing valuable guidance and support for their business journey.

Another important aspect of the workshop was the networking opportunity, where participants connected with fellow entrepreneurs, traders, and industry professionals, fostering potential collaborations and business growth.

The Members Meet of the Rifah Chamber of Commerce and industry – Kolkata Chapter commenced with the Tafseer of the Qur’an delivered by Br. Hafiz Subhan, setting a spiritually enriching and purposeful tone for the gathering.
This was followed by an insightful session on “Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as an Entrepreneur” presented by Br. Md Salim, highlighting timeless principles of integrity, trust, and ethical trade. The discussion further reflected on the business excellence and strategic acumen of Abdur Rahman bin Auf, by brother Murshid Sb drawing practical lessons from his entrepreneurial journey.

An engaging one-hour structured networking session was conducted, where each participant shared their business profile, *requirements, and specific “asks” from fellow members and the Rifah platform*. The session encouraged collaboration, referrals, and mutual support among the 17 participating members.
A feedback session was also held to gather members’ insights and suggestions for strengthening future Rifah programs and enhancing member value.

The program featured a powerful talk on “A Practical Approach to Business Growth” by Br. Md Kalim, emphasizing that inner confidence is a key factor for business success, along with disciplined financial focus and clarity of purpose.

The event concluded with Iftar and Namaz, fostering spiritual bonding and strengthening professional relationships among members.

Abu Dhabi Hosts Global Business Leaders as RIFAH Expands International Networking Platform

Abu Dhabi, 29 January 2026: Continuing its efforts to strengthen global business cooperation, RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry facilitated another successful International Business Networking Meet in Abu Dhabi as part of its UAE business delegation program from 25-30 Jan 2026.

The event brought together more than seventy entrepreneurs and business leaders, predominantly from Abu Dhabi, along with members of the RIFAH delegation from India and participating businessmen from Qatar, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka. The networking platform enabled meaningful discussions, collaboration opportunities, and knowledge exchange among participants across sectors.

The program commenced with a keynote address by Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig, General Secretary of RIFAH, who emphasized the importance of international networking, partnerships, and collaborative market expansion for emerging and established businesses alike.

A panel discussion featuring experienced Abu Dhabi–based entrepreneurs followed, where business leaders shared insights from their two-decade journeys in the UAE, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and practical lessons for aspiring entrepreneurs and global investors.

The event also included an interactive individual networking session, enabling participants to build direct business connections and explore cross-border collaborations. The session was effectively moderated by Mr. Ateeq Ahmed, ensuring engaging participation and productive dialogue among attendees.
