The Members Meet of the Rifah Chamber of Commerce and industry – Kolkata Chapter commenced with the Tafseer of the Qur’an delivered by Br. Hafiz Subhan, setting a spiritually enriching and purposeful tone for the gathering.
This was followed by an insightful session on “Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as an Entrepreneur” presented by Br. Md Salim, highlighting timeless principles of integrity, trust, and ethical trade. The discussion further reflected on the business excellence and strategic acumen of Abdur Rahman bin Auf, by brother Murshid Sb drawing practical lessons from his entrepreneurial journey.

An engaging one-hour structured networking session was conducted, where each participant shared their business profile, *requirements, and specific “asks” from fellow members and the Rifah platform*. The session encouraged collaboration, referrals, and mutual support among the 17 participating members.
A feedback session was also held to gather members’ insights and suggestions for strengthening future Rifah programs and enhancing member value.

Abu Dhabi Hosts Global Business Leaders as RIFAH Expands International Networking Platform

Abu Dhabi, 29 January 2026: Continuing its efforts to strengthen global business cooperation, RIFAH Chamber of Commerce and Industry facilitated another successful International Business Networking Meet in Abu Dhabi as part of its UAE business delegation program from 25-30 Jan 2026.

The event brought together more than seventy entrepreneurs and business leaders, predominantly from Abu Dhabi, along with members of the RIFAH delegation from India and participating businessmen from Qatar, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka. The networking platform enabled meaningful discussions, collaboration opportunities, and knowledge exchange among participants across sectors.

The program commenced with a keynote address by Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig, General Secretary of RIFAH, who emphasized the importance of international networking, partnerships, and collaborative market expansion for emerging and established businesses alike.

A panel discussion featuring experienced Abu Dhabi–based entrepreneurs followed, where business leaders shared insights from their two-decade journeys in the UAE, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and practical lessons for aspiring entrepreneurs and global investors.

The Investor & Investee Growth Summit, organised by Rifah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Telangana, was held at FTCCI, Hyderabad, with the objective of promoting ethical, interest-free, and collaboration-based business growth models for entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and investors.

The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by an introduction and presentation of the objectives by Yousuf Ali Khan, State President of Rifah. In his address, he emphasised the urgent need to move away from interest-based, debt-driven business growth and adopt partnership, equity, and collaboration-led models that support sustainable entrepreneurship and community development.

The summit featured detailed discussions on structuring Shariah-compliant peer-to-peer investment models, led by Mirza Afzal Baig, Strategic Partnership & Collaboration Expert, Founder & CEO of Lithotech Engineers LLP and General Secretary of Rifah. He focused on profit-based investment structures suitable for small-scale and individual investors, explaining core Shariah investment principles and commonly used models such as Musharakah and Mudarabah. He also highlighted the importance of proper documentation, governance, and transparency to avoid non-compliant practices and hidden pitfalls in ethical investments.

A key segment of the programme addressed the growth journey from MSME level to Venture Capital and IPO readiness, delivered by Dr Shariq Nisar, renowned Ethical Economist and Islamic Finance & Policy Expert. He guided participants on building professionally governed, compliant, and scalable businesses, emphasising that large-scale capital can be raised through equity and ownership-sharing mechanisms, without resorting to interest-based borrowing, provided businesses maintain financial discipline, transparency, and a long-term strategic vision.

The summit also provided focused guidance for investors, where Jeelani Ahmed, Chartered Accountant, briefly explained the legal and compliance aspects involved in ethical and profit-based investments, advising investors to adopt a long-term value creation approach while managing risks responsibly.

Another important highlight of the programme was the discussion on collaborative business support models, presented by Mirza Afzal Baig, Strategic Partnership & Collaboration Expert and Founder & CEO of Lithotech Engineers LLP, along with the General Secretary of Rifah. The session demonstrated how businesses can be strengthened through mentorship, funding support, resource sharing, and equity participation, enabling growth even when individual entrepreneurs lack capital, experience, or infrastructure.

The discussions were highly interactive, with active participation from entrepreneurs and investors who shared their concerns and experiences during the Q&A sessions. Participants, including attendees from outside Hyderabad, appreciated the summit for its practical approach, real-world insights, and ethical clarity.

On the occasion, the Rifah Telangana Calendar was formally released by the Chief Guest Dr Shariq Nisar in the presence of the Mr Afzal baig  National General Secretary of Rifah, symbolising Rifah’s continued commitment to ethical business and community initiatives.

The programme concluded with a networking session that encouraged dialogue and potential collaborations between investors and entrepreneurs. One-Day Business Workshop for Ulema, Huffaz, Imams and Moazzineen Held in Gulbarga

Gulbarga, January 13, 2026:
The Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Gulbarga Chapter, successfully organized a one-day business workshop for Ulema, Huffaz, Imams and Moazzineen of North Karnataka at Fun World, Gulbarga, on Tuesday.

The workshop, held from 10:30 am to 5:15 pm, witnessed the participation of over 300 attendees from different parts of North Karnataka. The event was organized in collaboration with various Deeni sects, maslaks and religious organizations, reflecting a spirit of unity and collective progress.

The program focused on creating awareness about business opportunities and entrepreneurship among religious leaders. It included business-oriented presentations, interactive discussions and networking sessions aimed at encouraging collaboration and economic engagement within the community.

The primary objective of the workshop was to empower religious leaders with practical knowledge of business and entrepreneurship, promote mutual networking, and contribute towards economic growth and development in the region.

Participants expressed positive feedback and appreciated the initiative, terming it a unique platform that combined religious leadership with economic empowerment. The workshop also helped in strengthening community ties and opening avenues for future collaboration.
